ABOUT ME
My name is Lily Nguyen, a senior at Los Amigos High School. I love my two cats named Nemo and Scout and eating Vietnamese food. To me, art is a way to express myself, create new realms, and a platform to discuss societal issues. Due to its versatility, I find it difficult to limit myself to specific mediums as there are a number of ways to express my ideas. However, I have grown to love sculpture because of the way it presents the art three-dimensionally, which makes me feel like I am living within its world. Sculpture is also a challenging art form as it forces me to think in the third dimension which helps me improve my understanding and visual articulation of anatomy and form. As an artist, I strive to continuously push myself to expand my limits.
